First uni exam on a halloween day

It was statistics exam today. Very different from past years, more challenging, more variety of questions. Therefore, there were a few questions which I had no idea and ain't sure how to solve that but it's still do-able, not easy but not very hard either.

I couldn't sleep, and at last slept at 5am+ i guess after finishing my revision at 4. The sky was getting brighter at 5, sooo early. And 6am I jumped up coz' the sun was shining brightly already, I was so worried if I overslept, phew, its not time yet. *relieve* Finally woke at 740ish. Toast with margarine+honey and nutella as breakfast and I marched to the exam hall, hah.

Noon went to city and bought some stuff, I was successful at not buying snacks. =P Oh and people were wearing costumes like zombies and they had thick make up too, kinda scary.

1 paper done, 3 more!

Accounting revision for now! =X

Subiaco Craft fair

Subiaco is a suburb about 10 to 15min away from uwa. They had this craft fair inside the uni@oak lawn. I was curious what are they selling and doing inside, therefore I wanted to go and have a look, didn't know we need to pay entrance fee for charity. I wanted to see what's inside and so I paid and went! Heh.

The fair mostly selling craftworks and creative stuff, eg very beautifully decorated cute cupcakes, cookies, handmade cards, handmade necklace, earring, bracelet, pillow case, drawings, wood carvings yada yada. I thought I may have some things to buy but the they are all very very pricey, one little nice wood carved keychain cost 8 to 10dollars.=X Those accesories are 30 and above. Thus, I could just walk around and see what's happening and those goods that they sold. oot bad, at least get to see some really creative goodies. Oh and they were also selling interesting foods.

It was a very hot afternoon, after about 2 hours, I'm tired and walked back to my college.

I have less than 6 days

The semester officially ended on thursday ( 2 days before). *Gasp* So fast, pooh, 13 weeks gone! My finals is next saturday, first paper stats. =( I still have 3 units to revise, can I finish em' n 6 days? Sighs, especially worried for the macroecons. I'm lagging behind a lot, and the lecture notes ain't helping, texbook is too massive to read all.

Exam period means a lot of snacking, irregular bed times, percentage of dozing off is the largest
yada yada.

I bought chips ahoy and smiths chips as my snacks for exams, guess it won't last long. =X

Fremantle and Just Burgers

At last, I get to go to Fremantle! Thanks to peiwen's mum. =D Her mum and sis came and visit perth. So today her mum brought peiwen, me and teckyew along. Teckyew is from jb but study in singapore all the way, commerce in uwa also. Peiwen and teckyew's parents known each other quite long already one.

Back to topic, we went to fremantle. It's famous for its fish and chips. The fish there is fresh and the mussels don't have the type of smell, so it's quite alright. But I wouldn't say its very very tasty either, haha. And today is super hot 35 to 36 celcius! We were burning!

While we were eating, the neighbour table left their chips since they can't finish it. Poohhhhh! All the seagulls came and grabbed those chips to eat ferociously, scary birdssss.

We walked further up to the sea there and took pics

Next, fremantle market. The market is so clean and nice and with all the nice food aroma. I bought strawberries while auntie janet bought apples and oranges plus some veges.

Then, we headed back to peiwen's place. The place she rented is a very nice and spacious house. Got swimming pool inside too. For dinner, peiwen's mum wanted to bring us to ciao italia, famous for its tiramisu and pizza i guess? But it's closed, won't be open till next tuesday. Not doing business on weekends, weird of them, they rather lose profit, haha. Teckyew recommended this famous burger shop, Jus burgers in leedersville. It's not bad too, quite yummy but not super yummy, haha. Day well spent= study plan failed. =X

But thanks to her mum, I get to go a few places today that I never been to. =D

Spring Feast

Thursday night, the climax of the multicultural week- Spring feast! It's all about food! I reckon 80 to 90 percent stalls selling food are asians, there are ice kacang, nasi lemak, ramli burger, chee kuey, korean rice cake, curry fishballs, bubble milk tea, satay etc etc. All these were sold in a uber expensive price. =(( I wanna eat the satay but it's 1 dollar a stick? Ice kacang 4 dollars?

It's quite dark in the feast area and i saw nasi lemak! Since I haven't had dinner, I bought one packet. When opened....

only 5 timuns, very lil bit of sambal, half an egg, less than 10 peanuts, thats it! And it cost me 5 dollars!!

grrrrr, i can buy 1rm in malaysia.

Ridiculous ramli burger and roti john, 6 dollars =.=

I wanna eat many stuff but only bought the nasi lemak and fish balls, coz' too expensive already. The feast ended at 10pm.

More sun, and lunch on the grassy land

Yay, today is 24celcius i think, I like I like! Dated peiwen for lunch on the grass. Haha. The night before I planned to stay up whole night to complete my stats project, ended up I slept in front of the laptop. =X Luckily I could wake. During midday, it was surely more than 24 I think, so hot, but i like it more than winter.

Later, I asked soo shan along for lunch. Soo shan is from JB and taking commerce too, she's a nice girl. =] Peiwen brought me a packet of milk, yay, and I gave her an apple cinnamon bar and banana for sooshan. I like lunching on the grass, haha. But I don't like cut lunch coz' we can only take bread, yogurt and a bar. Once in a while is alright. Bread too much is not nice.
