#1 Ahchek steamboat buffet

Came to knew this newly open steamboat bbq shop in foodpromotions.com.my. Then I asked my mum why not give it a try since it's near our place and we could bring agong and ama coz' agong's birthday is 29th of Jan. So deal's on! wheee

a wide variety of choices, from different types of noodles to nyonya kuihs, rojak, seafood, various flavours of pork, chicken and fish bla bla bla

choices of drinks: plain water, rose syrup, keat poh, nutmeg, red bean soup
my agong being blur-ish, haha Happy 82nd!

#2 Ah Basri's Satay @ D'piazza opposite PISA

#3 Teeramisu cake house@ D'piazza

Sadly no picture of the tiramisu cake (rm4.30). Doesn't taste any extraordinary.

#4 Pak hussain tomyam @ sg. ara- opp chong cheng

tomyam chicken for 2 pax, 2 plate of rice and kerabu (rm16 altogether)
I like tomyam! but not spicy enough =X

Dinner with weiwei and catch up on storiess. =P Meet up for the first time since I'm back, oops and I'm going back again.

#5 Balik pulau lemak laksa@Nan guang coffee shop

yay! ease my craving for lemak laksa at last (rm2.50)
and the refreshing nutmeg juice(rm1.50)

Went with xiting and saiye when they are having break in inti. =)

#6 New queens food court @ 3rd floor near cinema

curry ramen (rm5.90)
Not very nice, tasted like hawker curry mee but worse than the hawker's
just a very normal noodle dish

Met up with wan nee after almost a year? She gave me a pen with my name engraved on it, =D. And we had this curry ramen after watching Spy Next Door by jackie chan.

Of pros and ?

This naughty student of mine, a boy today, kept arguing with me. He kept saying he's a pro. But he didn't know how to do his maths, having several corrections. Then I said if you are a pro, why are you having so many mistakes in your worksheet? He replied, see see, 'I'm a pro' while correcting the mistakes, this answer is correct rite? See, see I'm a pro. He asked, you know what's pro means meh? Of course I know! -me fighting back.

Then you know what is noob? Noob noob noob, he chanted happily. And continue, you see pro anot? I'm a pro. grrrrrr.

Next, he didn't let me to take his record book to write something. I was like snatching it from him since he was sooooo naughty.

What a day.

And by the way, the proposal is good, kinda like the movie. Just watched it, outdated me.

It's wednesday again!

Off day. Woke up unusually early, went to the market and get some stuff for breakfast, yay, got my black sugar soya milk.

Noon, met xiting and we went to the pulau tikus vegetarian place for lunch. Then maxim again.=P Whisky cream this time. Movie in gurney plaza-old dogs. The movie was pretty good I would say, hilarious, heartwarming and with the kinky, joker face smile that made us laugh so hard, and their silly actions. Robbin williams has aged already, not so young as before from the old movies.

Chopper board soup for tea. First time having it as well, so as xiting, tasted like shark fins soup.
Quite yummy.

A visit to KL again

Day 1-Reached kl at 230ish. Took ktm and lrt to bukit bintang. Walked through lot 10 to pavilion. Just loitered for awhile since most of the things are not within our capabilities to purchase, haha. Then to starhill gallery. Spent a few mins looking through the building and proceed to sungei wang. The shops there were crazy, sooo many people that I don't even have the chance to queue and try the clothes, grrr.

At night, went over to cousin sis place for dinner. She cooked kinda yummy food especially the coke chicken and cheeese cake!=D

Day 2-meet up with joey. They picked me up from the kelana jaya lrt station. Then her boyfriend drove us to the curve in mutiara damansara. My first time there and it's not what i expected after all. But it's near ikea ikano and other complexes. Nothing much to buy there.

The interesting part would be the restaurant. Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. A cute and unique restaurant based on the movie forrest gump. I didn't take pictures of it so i browsed through the net and managed to find some.

we ordered chicken cob salad( 24++), mud pie (24/26.90 i forgot) and the bourbon street baramundi(29.90)
the main entree comprises shrimps, chicken and mash potato
we shared all these coz' the dishes are all quite expensive =X

Ambience was not bad and they would give us some entertainment using sticks. Example they gave us toothpicks and asked to remove one of them to make an equation become 100 and so forth. So while eating, we were cracking our brains to solve it.

3 of us watched a movie too in cathay cineplex. Vampire's assistant. I had no comment about this movie but I would not encourage you to watch it if you are planning to.

At night, reached penang at about 1230am.

2 movies in a row, 1 is good 1 is not

Wednesday! My official off day. Catch up 2 movies in one day. Did you hear about the morgans is a comedy but I don't find many funny scenes. The plot is quite typical and not very interesting. On the contrary, avatar is awesome!!! After a long wait, got to watch is at last. Very exciting and something new. I like. The forest in pandora so pretty!

Had lunch in ultimax cafe near queens. Ordered this pork curry rice served with salad (4.50). Normal stuff. Gonna go there again to try a few other dishes.

From teluk kumbar to batu ferringhi

This noon went to batu maung seafood but it's closed, therefore changed to the malay famous mee udang in teluk kumbar somewhere near the teluk kumbar police station. It's called salwa mee udang where the lil' shop is facing the sea. The cook/owner said it has been operating since 50 years ago.

they were super fresh! but come with a price (rm26/bowl)

Eating crabs is super messy, you wouldn't want to see how my hands turned into, lol

From teluk kumbar, we rounded the island to balik pulau, teluk bahang and reached batu ferringhi. Visited hard rock hotel at last after listening so much about it.
