Beau Bristow

Today I went to Inti for a mini concert by Beau Bristow, he's from the states and well, pretty not bad the singing and guitaring. Just that every song is in the same genre. Not very exciting to me. =X The special thing about him is that every song has a meaning behind it, he composed all those himself. And the guitar-ing is good.

1 hour + and the mini concert ended. A shirt can attract people to talk to me, hahah, that's so interesting. Coz' apparently i'm wearing the I love london shirt. And this lady from connexion, she's a cambodian living in tenesee, usa. But she's now in penang. She's sara, nice lady, had a good chat with her though we just met. All her kids are adorable. And also there's another girl from university of missisipi, going to 4th year in degree of english education. Nice nice people. =] Met tansaoyun there also. =D

Why junior chamber international didn't exist last year, don't get to join, haha. After that i proceed to cell group. The end.

Pre and during father's day

For pre-day, noon I fetched my ama and agong to church for their senior citizen fellowship. I'm the odd one there, lol. After that I checked out the new home's cafe at the d'piazza mall near pisa. The concept is almost exactly like old town, just that the prices are cheaper. Even the cups used are the same.

And I met yeivern there! Surprise. She works there every weekend. My ama really made me frustrated as she don't wanna order and she kept saying wanna share with my agong. So I ordered coffee for them, those with juice extracts. Ordered capuccino coffee, white coffee with strawberry extract and blackcurrant extract. Not superbly tasty but something different. It's 3.40 per cup.

Then at night sis came back. Grrrr, because of her arrival, made my mood so foul, coz' I get scolded by mum for no apparent reason bla bla bla. Good thing is I get my pencil case, bracelet and knitwear from her, haha. Chocolates again, weight gaining fooood.

During father's day,which is today, we had family lunch with aunt and uncle in corner club restaurant at gurney drive. The food they ordered are those that I don't eat, eg sea cucumber, big mushroom, and those slithery food thingy. =X So I no comments, hehe.

Out with colleagues

A supposedly good day is ruined by a phone call, not gonna elaborate on it.

Reluctantly, not wanting to break my date with my colleagues, went for a movie with Lyn and Gana. Drag me to hell, yes it's a horror movie, my 3rd time watching a horror one in cinema. And I closed my eyes and peeped the show at those scary parts, so... Not that scary anymore. x]

So today I get to know more about Gana, he's doing medicine, interesting. Same age as me, previously from pfs. After june, gana, me, vellina gonna quit for reasons like studies, job and vellina is sent to Uni Sultan Idris for training.

Lunch at nandos and we talked and gossiped about work. =D 3 races hanging out together, i'm loving it. =] But Lyn is always mistaken as chinese and promoters often talk to her instead of us in chinese, haha.

And we were late for 3 mins to work.

And I gonna wait till next week before I make a very important decision, sighs.

Con Permiso

When people sneeze, excuse me is the usual word uttered.

For one lil' cute boy, adli, who is 5 years old, after sneezing, he said, alhamdulilah!

And we tutors all laughed by his cuteness. =D

Movie!

Went for 2 movies. Sunday and today. Sunday was with my mum coz' my bro gave us a ticket voucher. Terminator salvation was not very nice though. And today I watched 17 again with my colleague, Lyn, yay, it's funny and a nice movie. =D





Then for lunch i actually wanted to try out home's cafe near pisa, but Lyn asked if it's halal, I'm not sure about it. So we went to chopper board and I helped her to confirm that it's halal. Black pepper chicken rice for me and spaghetti for her.

Besides, I renew my IC today. Waited for an hour, grrr. As usual, my fingerprints can't be detect, sighs. Instead of 3 weeks, I can only get mine in 3 months. =( Coz' they need to check my details manually.

Ok, that's all.

Stationeries

Stationeries cost a lot too. Bought these on wednesday ( with a few hairbands) and they cost me 36 bucks. *shakes head* And I haven't finish buying.

MYC Day 5 (finally, haha)

Final night is always spent longer. We were all working for our final presentation for dragon's den to the judges. All of us stayed up late and discussed stuff. My group planned to do a sketch so we practised. But the scripts really made us LOL as written by one of the group members. Then fabian read aloud to us and we practically burst into laughter. Fyi, our project was about transforming a place into an eco-city. The sketch was about before and after life in the eco-city. 'Mummy, what does a cat look like?' Oh gosh, this script was funny, at least to us that time. And there's a part when we gonna sing L.O.V.E. L, is for the way you look at me, O, is~~ haha

Thurs midnight/fri morning, we took pics again after laughing so hard. We were all in pyjamas except one, u may spot the odd one. =P

Day 5 was our final presentations. I still shiver while talking in public, when can I stop that?=(
Anyways, some groups did really well and creative, some were funny. I forget which group won, 8 I guess, not sure. But it's the experience that matters.

MYC Day 4

Day 4 is fun! It's our field trip, yesh, the most happening day of all. But beware, this post is photo-filled. We visited 4 places, KPT/ Kim Polygon Trading factory in shah alam, organic farm, organic shop, secondhand shop and paper mill factory. These shops and factories are under the same boss. KPT is operated by 5 brothers and they have a total of 7 companies, impressive. We departed at about 6am, we had really lil' sleep.

At night, there's night stalk which the organizing committees acted dramas outside the hall. And we were supposed to find out who the murderer was by following the actors and observed what they said and did. Before that we had seen a video to know bits about the story. It's interesting and eerie in a way as some shouted and one acted as a ghost. After that, lights in the toilet were spoilt, eunice and me don't dare to go in, washroom break-unsuccessful, haha.

That pretty sums up the day, I know it's kinda long.
