I'm in trouble?

I laughed at a joke from my standard 3 student. Ooops. And I kept laughing with the student for a while coz' I just can't stop once the laughing gas is stimulated. I think the administrator will dislike my behaviour, and I asked for permission to go off 30 mins earlier tomorrow to catch my bus, I think I'm in a not-so-good situation. Haha.

I must prepare to terminate the job voluntarily. =S Since June I guess I will go to kl quite frequent. Hope they don't hate me. =X

On a better note, a girl gave us sweets as teacher's day present, how cute. =D I got an orange flavour sweet.

Super funny feedbacks to a NTU indian lecturer

Xi Ting sent me the link and said it was funny. So I watched it, and it's really hilarious, the feedbacks from student survey forms are super interesting. They called the lecturer babe or sweetheart, and talked about his moustache and semi bald head. The indian lecturer was kind enough to put up those feedbacks on the screen for them to see.

Being blur

Before being blur, I woke up late in the morning, let darl py waited, sorryyy. Then I can't jog long. =(

After that we went to queens for angels and demons. That movie was quite interesting, about seeking clues through symbols, poems and buidings.

Then we went out the max gourmet for lunch. I ordered portugese style chicken cheese baked rice while py had some duck noodle thingy. Snacks we had were raddish cake and egg tart.

Going back to work and I found my keys were gone! I thought I left it in the cinema so I went to search for it. On the way up the stairs, I fell. Ish. Bruises forming. Then I asked those people who work there to help, they asked me to wait for another 40mins for another show to be finished screening.

And I sat down. I opened my bag once again. There it was! The keyssss. In my zip compartment. Phewwwww. Then I rushed back. Late for 4 mins.

It didn't end here. I knocked my head in kumon while taking my drinking bottle from the cupboard. Later, I got scolded for doing exercises. I must help others to mark papers instead.

So here it is, a day full of mishaps. Perhaps it is just not my day.

Some Updates

- I got my own laptop already, not toshiba, but hp's touch smart notebook
- I can use msn at last! ohmy, it's been 2 years using I love IM messenger
- I'm going to kl this 30th, my mum will not be going, which means I have to travel alone this time
- My daily routine is bad, waking up late, skip lunch, lunch + dinner together, sleep late
- Learning and recalling maths, stress
- Because there's a standard 2 kid doing form 4 addmaths, standard 5 kid doing some sort of pre-u maths already
- Lyn, the colleague, is good in baking cakes, had eaten her cheese and chocolate cake, yumyum
- Gana, another colleague, kinda very quiet?
- I'm so muhibah ain't I, since I'm closer to Lyn and Gana, chinese, malay, indian, seee?? lol
- Talking to little kids are entertaining, it's very delightful to see them smile or laugh cheerfully
- There are a lot of sick kids in kumon, either flu or coughing, tutors are getting sick too
- I wanna watch push and night at the museum 2
- I recently finish reading a book, which is great people in world history, a book given by my paternal grandpa which I never read until now, 1949 edition, haha, antique book ok. =P
- I realised I got a lot of books, either factual books or novels like the 4 chinese stories, 3 kingdoms etc, I got all the 4 and I never read.
- I think I will stop now, will continue the updates some other days

Gahh, I can't online a few days already, am currently in oldtown cafe near sunshine square.

So I'm working in kumon, and there's once I couldn't teach one kid about complex factorisation, and the lady boss sort of raising her voice to me but in a jokingly way, 'Hui Hui! You better improve your factorisation or I'll FACTOR you!' Ooopsie, okok, I will practice the worksheets. =P

During teacher's day, each tutor got a brownie given by the boss bought in rainforest bakery. I celebrated teacher's day not as a student but as a teacher!Hahah. Different role this time.

I think I haven't talk much about work. Ok, I shall now talk about it. There's altogether 8-9 tutors, mostly are students except 2-3 adults. 3 guys and the rest are ladies. My first friend made was a malay lady, short form Lyn, 22, part time studying in wawasan U. The adults are miss parames, belina, ms pat and miss yip, those 2 of the latter are the administrators. The student tutors are vanessa, jenni, gana, jonathan, darrel.

Jonathan, darrel and vanessa are those who could teach higher levels, eg addmaths and pre-u maths. Vanessa is quitting this coming friday for studies. Lack of tutors now. This will make us busy. =(

Anyways, I met yyun the same day before she went back to kl. But I guess I'll meet her soon in kl early june. And the rainforest bakery mentioned just now was a new shop, I decided to explore it.

The boss asked if we were there the first time, and he explained to us about the breads, the nutrients in wholemeal organic bread etc and asked about our studies whereabouts. He's also selling in inti hostel, selling inside the inti campus will be the future plans. He has shops in schools like dalat, uplands, fairview... He asked to spread around the news about his bakery and I did. I'm kind. =P By the way, the breads and stuff there are mostly french, italian, english bla bla. Of course it's expensive, to me at least. hehe

Dinner at dragon-i. My uncle's treat. He's back in Us now. =( Oh and in dragon-i, he ordered like so many, and the waitress advised him to cut down the dishes,lol. I also asked him if it can be finished, he said don't worry, he will take care of it, hah.

Non-working day =D

Public Holiday! Meaning I don't have work. Slept as long as I like. Then I went to gurney with my mum. Saw lots of stuff on sale, sighs, but I'm poor now. Ohh, and I saw the thing as py darl said, it's cheap comparing to normal-day prices, hmm, told my mum about it and she said can buy and keep for overseas. Perhaps will go to gurney again. =P

Since it's mother's day tomorrow, I treated my mum to dinner and she chose manhattan. Before walking to coffee island for a drink, we browsed through in bonia. There's this customer super cute laa, she's a rich indonesian chinese, she didn't know whether to buy the shoes she tried. So, she tossed a coin to see if she should buy. And the coin told her to buy, therefore she bought it. Omg, this is so funny and cute, I'm like kept giggling there, and she told us her luggage may overweight from shopping, lol.

At last, after hearing so much about it, I went over to coffee island. The latte was not bad but the chocolate drink was definitely out, the taste was fake.But never try, never know. Next time don't go for the chocolate beverages. Haha.

Teaching for just a few days, I realized lots of stuff too. =]

And also realized I will be in hunger if my ama doesn't cook. =( Coz' my uncle who came back takes them out, which is a good thing, almost everyday. Hahaha.

I ate countless of dark chocolate loacker wafers, but sore throat please have mercy upon me,lol. I hardly get to eat loacker. =P

Cute lil' kids!

Oh how I love lil' cute boys and girls! =D

Teaching them is joyful, and they made me laugh. There's this girl joey and a boy maximus, played with the rubber and did expressions and laughed themselves. Sooo cute. They purposely said the wrong answers to me and looked at me, then laughed again.

There's some students who purposely did so slowly and wrongly too many times which could make you annoyed. But interact wtih kids, I'm not easily angered. =]

Some staff would hey huihui, pack this, bla bla bla. Night time is the busiest time, from about 7 to 10 will be the peak hours.

Teaching young kids would be less stressful, higher level would made me nervous too, coz' I'll be fearful what if I don't know how to teach. Haha.

Summary of my work after the 3rd day in kumon. .

Oh another thing, whoever interested in teaching in kumon can think about it, we need 2 more tutors. =D

And a kindy chinese teacher in air itam. Interested can ask me. Hehe.

I've been watching this. Cool show! It's sort of a modern robin hood show, obtaining large sum of money from the rich people who are bad and donate to the poor.


It comprises 20 episodes and I finished 16 eps yesterday. Haha. Which means I'm glued to the tv from noon till midnight. At last I finished all.
